At the Bar

Since the Appleton Radison does not have Versus, I am out and about watchin=
g the game. I am guessing I’m the only one in downtown Appleton barhopping=
and watching the game, much less walking around in a hockey jersey.

Since the game is about to start, I’m going to say Ducks in 6, but I’m real=
ly hoping for Ducks in 7, since I have monday nights off, and this is going=
to be another long offseason.

What’s better than watching the Stanley Cup Finals? Not much.=

  1. the games go to NBC starting at game 4.. so unless there’s soem dogracing coverage that’s more important. Only 2 more games on Vs. (I think)

I agree, not much better than watching the SCF. A great game last night. It was kind of nice (once I get over being bitter) not having a vested emotional interest and being able to just watch and enjoy the game without heart failure. This is called looking for the silver lining when your team gets booted from the playoffs. Did I mention that I hate Chris Pronger?

Last night’s game had a great pace and was very exciting.

Colin – I believe they move starting Game 3, which I just do not understand. There is a whole rant there, but it will have to wait (like a lot of things here lately).

HC – The pace to last nights game was incredible. The top of the 2nd was a bit slower, but you could almost see the players working to keep it that way for a while. A great way to start the Finals, and a slap in the face to anyone who says these teams don’t deserve to be here.

Is there anyone who likes Pronger, other than the fans of the team he plays for? The most I can muster is a snide comment for his nose, and some general disinterest for him in general.

I think he’s like Phaneuf – the kind of player you love to hate…but would kill to have on your team
