The NHL Tournament of Logos has the blog of choice for me to keep track of the NHL new jersey rollout (while the AHL is pure me). So I shouldn’t be surprised that they knew that the date the Avalanche would be showing the new jersey before I did. Just the way it goes. But, in a shrewd and very Avalanche way, they are doing it the same day as the Toronto Maple Leafs, which will hopefully over-shadow the launch in case things don’t go well for the new design. Set your calendars to stun, it’s going to be a ride.
Also, the Avalanche Logo has entered round 3 of the Logo-off (or whatever it’s called), this time in a pitched battle against the Edmonton Oilers logo. I believe the Avs logo is better, but I only get one vote. Remember, just like in Chicago, vote early and vote often.
