There are a few neat things going on around here in the next few days. One will be happening tomorrow, so keep your browsers set to the JAHL channel
I just got my partial work schedule for next week, and it looks like I may be working all through training camp, but I may be able to make some time for rookie camp. Rookies start Sunday, so hopefully, this will work out.
I’m going back to the Czech hockey bar soon to take some photos. I’ll have a little post up here.
Last bit. I have an idea for opening night, and will be posting it up here soon. It’s some serious group participation. Stay tuned.

I love Sobo 151. My sister used to live a few blocks way from the place, so I ended up with lots of Czechvar and lots of t-shirts. I still have a (now very stained) Sobo 151 coaster on the coffee table.
I miss the sportsbars we used to have here in Stockholm. Now they’re all gone but most pubs and bars show football and Swedish Hockey now and then.
But the sportsbar… wow a place for ûbersportsgeekiness only! Those were the good times.
Ing, there is a simple solution for all this. Get your ass to Denver. We’ll go to a Blues vs. Avs game, hang at the hockey bar, and cause general mayhem.
I might actually take you up on that offer.
I am seriously thinking about heading over to watch some Blues games this year. I have some cash saved, and why not blow it on NHL and Americana instead (of whatever I usually blow my cash on).
I think I have a budget for two weeks and four or five games in two cities.
Why not spend a few days with a fellow jersey aficionado?
