Like most American hockey fans, I do not subscribe to the Center Ice package. Frankly, a little too much time off, coupled with needing the time to serve the public (hockey blogging, that is) have cut down on the finances to the point that Center Ice is a little extravagant, and I need to search out my hockey fix in local bars and restaurants that service my needs (your logic about finances can not overcome my craving for beer and hockey). Therefore, I am a slave to local programming, and the Altitude network (basic-ish cable).
Still….
I know I live in the Mountain time zone, but is it too much to ask that, on this most sacred of days, the day we set our clocks back one hour, and give a little piece of our souls to Father Time, that the first game of the day, broadcast on NATIONAL FREAKING TELEVISION, not start at 10:30 IN THE FREAKING MORNING?!?!?!?
Just asking. I wonder why hockey is off the radar. What game are the SCF starting on NBC this year?
yeah…..
God, I love hockey.
Edit: That should read set the clock ahead. Thanks, Roy. Good thing I don’t have to work today. I hate DST. Love hockey, though.

Tape, you better set your clocks ahead one hour, not behind.
I feel your pain. As a transplant from Mountain to Pacific time zone I had a hard time waking up to Bruins-Chicken Wings on Sunday. 9:30am is only an acceptable starting Hockey time if you are playing it.
fortunantly the Red Wings seemed to be tired too and lost the game, which is always nice to see.
