I just bought my first ticket of the season, even though it is the preseason. I happen to have work off for the Colorado Avalanche playing the Dallas Stars on Thursday, September 20th. And even though it’s preseason, they are still charging an arm and a leg, so I will be sitting in the nosebleeds. I can’t wait to get up north, where they have minor league hockey. It will be soooo much better on my wallet.
Also, Jeremy Roenick signed with the San Jose Sharks. His long awaited tenure with a Canadian team and his promised at retirement are both delayed. To that I say, whatever. Can you spell liability? My spell checker can.

I can’t believe JR didn’t hang it up. Be interesting to see how long before him and Ron Wilson are at each other’s throats. Hmm, maybe I should open a betting line on that.
