NHL Jobs For You

New feature on the JAHL Sidebar. Look over to the left and you will find the current job listings for the NHL, AHL, and ECHL. Why? Because I like you, and want you to be happy. As the leagues update their boards, the job listings will update.

But there are a few posts I thought all you smart internety people might be interested in.

Club Site Producer (Night) – NHL.com (New York, NY)

The candidate will be responsible for the production and maintenance of content for NHL Club websites, the creation and design of web pages, the conversion of press releases, announcements, photos, pictures, and other information into web site content. Monitor games and night time needs for several teams and update the site as news warrants. Create, design/edit of graphics and photos, and other related duties as assigned. This is a full time position and the candidate must be able to work from approx. 6pm to the completion of games.

So, basically, watch hockey games, work on web pages, and get paid. Sounds like a good gig to me.

Head Writer – NHL Productions (New York, NY)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the writing of all pieces for NHL Productions and overseeing all pitches for future work. Strong knowledge of the game of hockey required. Must have the ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

So, essentially, you get to write for NHL, which involves hockey and getting paid. Another good gig? I say yes!

And on the other end of the spectrum:

Mascot – New Jersey Devils (East Rutherford, NJ)

The New Jersey Devils are currently seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to perform as the official mascot of the New Jersey Devils.

Seriously, if you live in the area, how can you not pass this up. I bet the mascot suit smell better than the rest of New Jersey (Zing!)

Or, you could go work for Ted

Amateur Hockey & Fan Development Manager – Washington Capitals (Washington, DC)

There’s a whole big description to that one, so if you want to learn more, make with the clicky.

There you have it, all the info you need to make a career change. Click on any of the links to go to the job listing. Good luck.
