So the Russian Super League can bring the punches. They can clear the benches. To the hockey fan, who knows that such things don’t happen on the other side of the globe, the fight was different, amusing, and sort of exciting. But the Russian brawl just didn’t have the brutality of the localized hockey brawl. Like this:
Obviously, things are completely out of control, and there is nothing the refs can do at this point. How do you break up a fight that just restarts as soon as you move on to the next one?
And how about the goalie fight, and the player yelling smack at the guy who is getting his ass handed to him. Brutal.
